Bike Equivalent

Is the 2016 Versys 650 the same as the 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 650 EX650EFF with regard to chain and sprocket dimensions?

I'm trying to replace my chain and sprocket through Bike Bandit and they don't give me the option of the 2015 Versys, just the Ninja.

I want to say they are the same but I thought I'd ask before I purchase. I would like a DID X-ring and steel sprockets. If someone has a better option other than Bike Bandit I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Never mind. I found the answer I was looking for. They do have the same part numbers. I stopped by my local dealer and had them look up the part numbers.

I like JT Sprockets, JTsprockets.com has a handy bike lookup. Just got a 16 Tooth front for my 2016 Versys LT, steel sprocket only cost $11.22 and free shipping if you have Amazon Prime .

When I went back to Bike Bandit's web site the Versys was an option (like it had been before). Not sure what happened to not bring it up on the previous attempt.

Went with JT sprockets front and back 15/46 and a DID X-ring chain for just under $160 shipped.
