Removing the front fender on a Gen 3 650 ABS

I removed my forks today to take them in for new seals (HOPEFULLY under warranty!) tomorrow.

Using my SERVICE MANUAL I ran into a road-block at the point where you remove the fender, as, no matter what I did at THAT point it wouldn't come thru the forks as the "bracket" for the ABS speed sensor makes it TOO wide, and it can't be rotated 90 degrees w/ the wheel still attached.

Removed the wheel, then the fender came out fine.

Just a "heads-up"....

Ed

Why would your new fork seal(s) leak? Did you try cleaning them out with a Seal Mate?

The 2015 front fender can also be removed by first removing the front cowling (four bolts), if you don't want to take off the wheel.
