Seat/Riding Position Questions

Hello all! So I'm looking to do some changes to my Versys. Some general information first: I'm about 6'2" and I find the rising position to be a bit... awkward(?) at times. This may only be awkward because I'm used to riding my cafe racer-ish kz650 which has a pretty leaned foward riding position. I still haven't decided exactly what kind of build I want to do on this bike. I'm seriously contemplating doing a naked/streetfighter build

For the time being, I'm looking to put some superbike bars on my V to get a slightly more aggressive riding position, but in order to do that, I'd either have to figure out a way to get rid of that hideous bar riser (which is looking like it'll be difficult and require fabrication I don't have access to), or change up something with the seat. My main problem is that if I want to scoot farther back in the seat to be more aggressive, my butt and other areas become very uncomfortable due to the angle of the seat. Any suggestions? Would a new seat do me good? If so, which seat is best to sit farthest back on?

Also, I seem to remember seeing somewhere that the triple clamp from the z1000 is a direct match up to the forks of the Versys. Can anyone confirm this?

Terry Adcox flat seat.

If you don't want to go wider for distance comfort, he can accommodate.

I had him build the flat seat to my specifications and then he started marketing it to others.

He is a custom seat builder and builds on your seat pan. If you want to retain your stock seat, find a pan on ebay and work from there.

Motocross bars that are straighter and lower and a Seat Concepts seat which has the step a bit further back helped for me. I'm only 5'11" but have ape ars, and I found the cockpit to cramped with the stock bars/seat. Not to mention the stock seat is just horrendous in my opinion.

I have short legs and lowered it to accommodate the extra height of the seat concepts seat, but at 6'2" that likely won't be needed for you. For me with these changes it's all day comfortable.
