My green hose

So, noticed the "green" hose on my charchol canister is not attached to anything on the other end. What does it need to be attached to? Any problems if I don't try to reattach it, and how would I go about doing so?

Jeff, glad to see you're out of hibernation. I guess now you have to deal with the Spring mud.

Hibernation, what hibernation. We had one of the least snowy winters in recorded history here in AK. I never put my bike up all winter It's been DRY DRY DRY and there is no mud to be found.
