OEM sprocket specs

I don't know why I can't find this info but I can't.

My sprockets and chain need replacing. I want to stick with the same sprocket count for front and rear.

What model number are they and where did people get theres?

The OEM setup is 15/46. The parts are:

SPROCKET-OUTPUT,15T, Part# 13144-0024
SPROCKET-HUB,46T Part# 42041-0020

About $25 and $42 respectively from discount stores like Ron Ayers, bikebandit, etc.

How many miles are on your bike now that you need to replace your chain and sprockets?

It's around 26,400 miles.

Now if I rotate the rear tire, the chain is very noticeable that it is loose then goes to a tighter spot. Until my new parts come in, I sure hope I can't damage anything more except the chain and sprockets riding like that.

Just make sure that when you tighten the chain, it's not too tight in that tight spot. If it has no free play at that tight spot, it could damage your CS bearing.

Someone should include this info on Ayers and Bike Bandit et. al. They generally are much less than the dealership price... but if you're not ordering $100+ worth of stuff you'll generally have to pay the cost difference in shipping, and you get to go without parts for several weeks.

Thanks. I made sure I have it loose even at the tight spot. Seems like this crept up on me. Next time I'm changing the chain about every 20,000 even if it seems ok.

What is really strange, today I pull up to a hotel, park and then notice my right Powerbronze engine guard is completely broken off. I never dropped the bike but somehow it's gone.
