Givi Airflow for Versys 650 2015

I couldn't find any info, and on the Givi page for 2015 it shows a Gen 2 Versys, but with a windshield system from Gen 3 !?

GIVI AF4105 Airflow Windshield for Kawasaki Versys 650 - Kawasaki Versys 650 (2015) - GIVI Luggage

does it work on 650 2015?

Wow! Good find. I was just getting ready to try my universal Airflow scoop on my Givi 410 tall shield. But after seeing the correctly sized one on that pic and remembering my universal one, it may not work. Givi is no help, although their short shield for the Mach 2 Vs. 650 may work better.

It's about freakin' time! Generation 3 Vs. 650 owners are getting some excellent options now. The Airflow is the most innovative and enjoyable windshield there is, bar none!

I wish it did work on Generation 2, but their help is minimum wage labor that just reads from catalogs. But that sure did 'look' good on that Generation 2, didn't it??

Well I've got notes to your vendor, Givi, and Twisted Throttle. All three will probably read me back what is in the catalog, lol.

What's a Mach 2 Vs. 650?

From Givi's US supplier Twisted Trottle, it's for the V1K and a misprint. Good for Saddlebag, if he wants to replace his 3rd party screen. I guess I'll dry to put the AF scoop on my Tall Givi screen, like I was originally going to do before: it should still work even if it is not optimum. What in the world is Honda/Bmw/Suzuki Givi thinking? Are there more V1K's than Vs. 650's out there?

I thought there were some funky lines on the gas tank I did not recognize: it was a Euro V1K before 2015

=======================================
Twisted Throttle:

After doing some research it looks like the AF4105 was inaccurately listed by GIVI Italy as fitting the third generation Versys 650. The D4105ST and the AF4105 are actually for the '12-'14 Versys 1000 and the the photos of the screens on a Versys 1000 indicate this as well. There are slight accent differences between the bodywork that you can see if you compare the two machines, but at first glance it's not obvious. Givi informed me that there is not an "Airflow" style screen intended for the second gen Versys 650. You may want to consider one of the offerings from MRA for your machine as an alternative.
Regards,
Matt

I found something interesting, is there anybody that can check this: (from the website of Kawasaki Canada)
Screen (taken from the Versys 1000) is approximately 1.7 times larger than that of the previous model.

it's the same screen? it means that the photo is right and it can work on 650 3rd gen.

chid - I believe they are the same. I bought a Puig screen from an inmate, for my '15, and it's the SAME part # for 650 and 1000. Check the Puig site....

Just got my airflow yesterday for my 2016, just curious chid, what mounting adjustments have you settled on?

I'm starting out with the base set at the lowest position and the "chip" or top screen about 1in from the lowest. First ride planned for today.

Installed a Madstad on my 2015 650LT in the middle height. Lots of adjustments and 2000 miles and not too impressed with it. Still a lot of turbulence/wind noise at the top of my helmet. I ordered one size higher than recommended but even all the way up, I still get more than I would like. Better than stock, but for me - not worth the cost.
YMMV.

I did a nice 400km ride yesterday, very nice, I'm very impressed with Givi Airflow.
I was a lot less tired than before.
I could hear the engine on all speeds, easily up to 115km/h, that didn't happen before with the air noise and turbulences...

Very happy with this screen.
The screen touch the handguards (screen maybe 1 cms too large) BUT it is not a problem for riding and for lock the handlebar.
The picture show the bike in locked position.
