Mt. Rushmore Trip (almost)

Pictures left to right:
1) Grand Tetons "we were here sign". 2) "Top of the World Store" on Beartooth highway (10,947 ft). 3) The pass on Beartooth Highway. 4) Standing on a glacier at Glacier National Park in Montana. 5) Couldn't resist this cool old GS at Kalispel, MT.
Just got home from a trip from a planned trip from Seattle to Mt. Rushmore. Unfortunately my brother's Buell had terminal electronics problems on day 2, costing us a day and a half of our 9 day time allotment. After our party of 4 was cut down to 3, we still went to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, Beartooth Highway and 2,700 miles worth of other places. Great weather, breathtaking scenery, friendly people and just great fun in general. The most frequently asked question was something like "what is that you're riding? It looks great!" The Versys was flawless, even at 10,947 ft. I will be posting a few product evaluations and information about what worked well and what could have been better.

Looks like you had a lot of gear piled on. It will be interesting to hear about the product evaluations. Too bad you didn't make it to Rushmore. There is some great riding in that area.
