Probably one of the best street bikes for somebody coming off a dirtbike, if you ask me. It's tall, 33.1" seat height, very light and maneuverable, and it has very forgiving brakes and throttle. You're not going to do a 70MPH wheelie by accident and hard stops won't have your rear wheel up over your head like a sportbike would.
It's cheap on insurance (mine is $236/year full coverage), cheap to buy, gets insanely good gas mileage, and is just a blast to ride. Figure $10 for a tank of gas and $10 for lunch and you've got a $20 Saturday afternoon in the fresh air.
