Wow, that's better than my last trip. I followed some friends with cruisers on Sunday. Here is a screenshot of my poor man's LoJac/OnStar using a Boost Mobile phone running GPS tracking software.

I just returned yesterday from a 4213 mile trip in 10 days. Roundtrip, Kansas City to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Nine states and two Canadian provinces. Had five days of almost solid rain. Got a bit old camping in the rain each night. I don't mind riding in it, but breaking camp in a 42 degree rain sucks.

Stayed warm and dry while on the bike. Good raingear and heated liner and gloves were a must. The V performed well, without a hitch. Only maintenance was lubing the chain each day with Dupont Teflon lube, and adjusting it once on the way back. The Bridgestone BT 021's that I put on the day before I left look great with 4200 miles on them, the rear flattened out a bit, but not much.
Had one 900 mile day and several 700 mile days. Couldn't have done those without the Corbin and Audiovox cruise control. Just wish the tank was larger...

Kansas - Eleven curves in three hundred eighteen miles...

Did 500 miles ride on last Sunday and was happy to crash on the sofa on arrival. Congrats for your impressive rides!

My butt, shoulder and neck muscles weren't impressed. Believe me, the hot tub never felt so great when I arrived at the campground.
I'm planning for a Saddle Sore 1000 before the summer is out.

I hope that in the Fall sometime (when my new steed is broken in, and 44T'd) I can take it for a roadtrip. Something like Central Florida to Atlanta or something.

2011 Z1000 (FTW!)
2009 Versys (sold)
