High beam indicator?

Does anyone have an idea on how to dim the high beam indicator? When I use high beam, it practically blinds me. Oh it is a 2015 650.
And no tape over the bulb

You could open the gauge cluster and replace the high beam LED for a dimmer one... Some have also replaced LED's to change the backlit color.

get some 3m Magic Scotch Tape - it's opaque. stick a couple of layers over the light. It will soften it.

I also vote NO for tape that will mess up the display's clear plastic.

if you are worried about the glue affecting the clear plastic....

Ok... try Post-It Flags
Post-it® Brand Products:*Flags

its sticks and is not glue

I work in an office and use these flagies over and over again - still usable even after 7 years stuck to paper!

They don't leave residue.

cut up the sticky part to cover the led

Not glue per say, but a strong adhesive... Post-it flags are made of paper.

Post-it® Brand Products:*Post-it® Flags Value Pack, Blue, 1 in Wide, 50/Dispenser, 12 Dispensers/Pack

There's paint made to spray on windows to darken them. You could always try that, either w/ a brush, or by 'masking' the rest of the dash and then 'rattle-can' it....

You must have photosensitive eyes. Just put electrical tape with slits cut in it, then you can vary it to your liking.
