I wanted green, they sold out so I took a blue one. Color don't matter all that matters is the ride

I feel like I discovered a secret with this bike, now I know what you all were talking about while I was lurking.

That snow-blower is up around 10,500 feet, they just got that road open about two weeks ago.

Cheers,

Thats right colour don't matter, its all in the fun factor, I bet you have a permanent smile on your face after a ride. fresh snow overnight on the foothills close to where I live so very cold outside, not great riding weather as temp around 6 celcius

What do mean...DEBATE!!!!!!!!!

Now we all know 'greens' are, by definition, the fastest "V's" on the road.
No debate....just the facts.

Mortis &

Don't you worry on the color, some of us here are color blind so that's what the debate is about color.

On one hand, the V could easily outrun a beast like that.

On the other hand, if it made contact....My $ is on the Huge Versys Chewer Upper!

Howdy from Hutto, TX!

As far as bike colors go, my '10 Versys has no color . . . it's also the fastest!

Zowee, man, that is a great price! Here in NYC the '09s go a touch under 6k. I'm considering whether to save the bank and take the '09 or getting the improvements of the '10. Anyone care to weigh in on this? Biggest improvement seems to be rubber mounting the engine to cut down on vibes. Is this a big issue? I actually really dig the green and my local dealer has had one sitting there foreeeever...Wisdom anyone? Thanks!

I bought the 10. It spoke to me, mainly cosmetic.

You dig the Green! Go for the one you dig & save yourself some serious $. I test rode a 2008, bought the 10 because I liked the styling better. Actually, I really didn't notice any difference in handling between the bikes. In all fairness, my test ride on the 08 was a couple weeks before I took delivery of the 2010 so I didn't have a same day comparison.

What are you waiting for! Go get one!!
