Maintenence...

After the initial oil change and inspection, it is really just once a year of 7500 miles for an oil change?

I was looking at the service manual and a little taken back... what is everyone else doing?

I think most will change their oil a little more often. Most tend to land in the 2500 - 5000 mile range for oil changes. Don't forget to lube the chain every 600 miles or so and check to make sure important bolts stay tight.

Beyond that, I think the manual also calls for fairly frequent spark plug replacement. Most riders tend to change spark plugs infrequently. Do coolant and brake fluid every 2 or 3 years and enjoy the ride.

I suspect the inspection/service intervals are written with respect to each country's laws, etc.
