Should I get the E46 or E55 Topcase!

Is the E55 too big compared to the bike?

In my opinion the E55 looks really big but I've never seen it in person.

Probably depends on how much room you really need. Do you carry a passenger?

I'm surprised by how much I can get into my saddlebags and small duffle that I bungee to the rear rack. If it were me..I would go with the smaller one.

Just curious what kind of "tag" is below your license plate?

Also like how you cut off below the fender below the tag. Gonna chop mine off ASAP.

The Tag Is The Vehicle Inspection Sticker. The rat tail was cut using a big pair of shears. on the 09 the tail basically has a curved line running up the sides of the tail so i just cut along that and squared off the bottom.

I personally don't think the bigger cases look too big at all. I have an E52 and think it suits the bike well. Same goes for the E55. Looks good!

I agree. I'm glad i went with the E55 worked out much better for me than the 46. with the 46 my helmet took up alot of room (gotta big head) and the case was a pain to close because of the helmet. took out the map holder that helped alittle but still a pain

Yeah, I took out the map holder too.

It's nice because when my wife and I go somewhere, we clip the helmets to our bikes and put our jackets and other gear in the E52. If I'm by myself, my helmet, jacket and other gear all go in the E52, no problem. My backpack and lunch box fit when I'm commuting ... really nice.

Yea its a cortech. Easy on and off the bike. Sturdy and holds quite a bit and the rain cover holds on nicely had it on at over 90mph and no problems nice and snug.

The E55 would be really handy. Able to put in 2 helmets and some gear.
Loved the E52 when I had it. Also nice LED brake lights attached.
