Just changed my oil for first service

There are NO slivers of metal at all, oil looked fresh, I broke it in hard too. I am using Amsoil in it now............

That's super. Amsoil is a very good oil. Unfortunely not sold here.
More good rides and more oil changes to come, I gather. Cheers.

Did you empty the filter too? That's where I found most of the particles (clutch material mostly and nothing I'd call slivers).

How many miles it was when you change the oil? Most bike will have some kind of particles...

Make sure you change out the oil filter each time even though most manual said every other times.

Not sure if youíre talking to me but I changed the oil and filter as follows:

Odometer Reading | Observed Condition | New Oil Used

140 Miles | Substantial Particulates in Oil | Valvoline MC 10/40
780 Miles | Some Particulates in Oil | Valvoline MC 10/40
2512 Miles | Slight Particulates in Oil | Valvoline MC 10/40
5747 Miles | Virtually No Particulates in Oil | Amsoil MC 10/40
