My new V came home tonight

I picked up my new, 09 Blue V tonight and what a different ride it is compared to my 03 Sportster! Love the Sporty, and it's not going anywhere, but the V is sooooooo much smoother. My dealer is about 45 miles from home so I got a nice ride on it tonight despite the fact I couldn't get her over 4K rpms, due to the break-in procedure.
I've already gone out to the garage 2 times just to look at her and throw a leg over! She's pretty. I think I'll call her Vicky
Glad to be officially in the club.

I had a 2003 sporty and recently got a nightster. They were both great bikes but I wasnt impressed as I thought Id be with the nightster. The suspension and handeling sucked. Traded it in for a 2010 versys TODAY!!!! sight unseen. I pick up the versys friday.

Funny about name, I'm thinking of calling mine Victoria. Right now it's just V.

Congrat's on the bike. Have a great and safe time with Vicky.

With those nice words about my Sporty, I'll forgive your lapse in manners The Sportster stays!! With close to 46K on the clock, she's been a trusty companion for the last 7 years.

We've all been through the oogling stage with our new rides. I still open the door from the house to the garage and say goodnight to 'my girls'.

My wife says "Stop oogling those babes and come to bed!"
