How to Tell Kawasaki to Import Yellow Versys to U.S.

Does anyone know how to contact Kawasaki to try to convince them to bring the YELLOW 2010 Versys to the U.S.? It is a stunning color on the bike. Most of their (international) ads for it have it in yellow for good reason.

Reviews said that Kawasaki listened to improvement suggestions from the owner community to make changes to 2010 model. Do they pay attention to sites like this for suggestions?

I'm seriously considering buying a 2010 Versys, but I'm going to wait to hear about the possibility of getting a yellow one.

I'm totally against this. I have a blue Versys and, while it looks great, I don't want to have to see that awesome yellow anywhere around me.

They will probably wait untill 2011 just so they have something to change for the new year. I agree with objectuser I don't want that awesome yellow versys anywhere around my faster green versys.

+1 on that brother! You hit on a major reason I don't have a Versys in the garage right now. Basically the only way you can tell Kawasaki you want that color is to contact them directly - I have many times and I think they will listen. The first way to contact them is by phone at: 949-460-5688. The second way is to surf on over to their website, and at the bottom of the page click on the link that says OUR COMPANY. From there, on the top right of the OUR COMPANY page, there is a list with multipe choices - click CONTACT US. At the bottom of that page is a section named CONSUMER SERVICES. Under that there is a drop down menu that you can select PRODUCT FEEDBACK. Fill out the box and click submit - simple, fast, effective.

Either of these ways will let Mama Kawasaki know what we (the consumer) want.

Yeah, that’s a statistic sample size of 1, category “anecdotal evidence”, but there it is.

My 09 Versys will be green with envy if you get a yellow... literally.

+1 on this.

The UK Yellow Versys also comes with ABS option...

If I see a yellow one around, my Green Versys will be going greener....

Thanks everybody --- great feedback.

Glad I found this site!
Thanks for the support/advice.
I tried some of their site navigation before I read your excellent post,
and couldn't find a direct route to them. I'll take your advice and leave an
email and vmail message.

Did it

I took Skeezix' advice and posted a request for the
excellent YELLOW Versys, like they offer in Europe.
From all of my research, this seems like an excellent bike.
Everything I want -- upright riding position, can handle long legs,
fared enough to block some highway wind, great handling, not completely
useless offroad....hopefully they will listen to us. Thanks again for the advice!

Glad to be of service. I hope more forum members will do the same and send Kawasaki USA a request for the Yellow color.
