Tank Bag.

Got my tank bag out of moth ball last night. It was sitting in a bin up in the attic for a year or so. It's a smaller generic magnet type that I bought when I had an fjr. I tried to put it on the versys but it really doesn't fit well due to obvious plastic on tank sides. I was considering loosening them and seeing if the tabs will fit in the gap. Does this sound about right or is there a better solution?

Just use a bungee cord on both side.Problem solved.
Of cause there good looking one out there, but do I really need expensive tanks bags just to keep some documents and map.

I turned mine backwards, forward flaps to the back where they can get on the metal. I made a lanyard to go around the steering stem but there seems to be no issues with stability. I ordered the Joe Rocket Manta to go with the V but it seems pretty cheesy.

+1 on turning the bag around. I also fold the flaps so that the magnets fully contact the tank under the bag. No probs at all. Here's not so great pic...
