Happy-Trails Teton 7.5" or 9" wide?

I just picked up a new 09' V and have decided to go with HT Teton panniers. Does anyone have any pics of 7.5" or 9" wide? The website doesn't specify what the bike in the pics has as far as width goes. I want as much capacity as possible without looking or feeling too bulky. Any feedback or pics would be great- Thanks!

Here is a photo of 9" Tetons on my Versys.

Go wide. I have the 9" and wish they were bigger. Actually, I'm thinking about selling mine and building a set. Let me know if you want a used set.

What top rack is that DBD? I'm probably going to just build one but want to take a look at all the aftermarket ones first.

kenr74,
I appreciate the pic. I really wanted the black, but hey would settle for the silver if the price is right. What would you sell/ship them for? And are there any dents or issues with your set?

Thanks- chris

I did some figuring which I should have done before opening my mouth.

By the time I ship these beasts across the country I don't think it would be a very good deal for anybody so I'll live with them for now. I'm going to build a top rack and box so I guess the new box will just have to grow.

If I was getting them, which I haven't decided between them and a set of Givi's yet I would get the wider ones.

I just purchased these online. Seems like a steal for American-made aluminum bags. They're currently offering to pre-drill the mounts and powder-coat for no additional charge. Tetons 9" wide with shipping for about $638. I recently sold my 07' Triumph Tiger with Hepco-Becker Gobi bags and the HT bags appear to be better. The Gobis were so-so and made in Germany to boot(I spent about $1k for those with all bits and pieces). Anything on Twisted Throttle is going to be at least $900 with racks and adaptors(HB, Trax, or Pelican). They just don't look any better than the Happy Trails bags.

Go with the 9 inch. I have 2 givi e-45 and I love them. Glad I did not choose the smaller
