Pick up my new 2010 tomorrow

After many emails to at least a dozen dealers, lots of phone calls and gnashing of teeth, I think I finally found a 2010 at a price I can live with here in the Dallas area. If all goes as planned, I should pick up the new bike tomorrow around 2pm.

I hope it is worth all the effort. After all, I have not even ridden a V yet! I hope I like it!

I was a little shocked at the insurance costs. It raised my premiums by about $600 a year, $200 more than I pay for my 2007 Goldwing. And that is with $1,000 deductible.

I will post some photos when I get the new bike home safe and sound.

My insurance went down, Still waiting for mine should be this week sometime having extras a hugger and extender fender.

I have riden a 2010 and was pleasantly suppised thought it was going to be flat how wrong I was, the only comment was that I kept sliding towards the tank for some reason.

I have heard that comment about sliding forward. Some guys say to grip the tank with your knees, others are having their seats rebuilt.

I would give it time before thinking of a seat replacement they may need wearing in.

Hope you like what you are getting i'm sure you will.
Ive always like the look of them from the first day they came out, the bike mag reviews are normally spot on and its been awarded bike of the year.
