Nice ride today

I got out on the Versys for the first time in a while today. What with work (yea I know 4 letter word) rain, 4th wettest June in Ohio, and the Royal Enfield I haven't had much time.

It's easy to forget what a competent bike the Versys truly is. But certainly after riding the Enfield it shows it's stuff. Just a joy to roll the miles by. And not running at race speeds either just legal speeds OR less on the back road. Even the mighty KLR takes a back seat to the Versys here.

My only real complaint is I took so long to buy mine.

Or was that look THEN leap?

Enjoyed a nice ride today as well, though it wasn't on my Versys. It stays in Texas when we head to Maine for the summer months. Still had a great ride on my venerable K75S. Beautiful weather, nice temperature and even though it's almost Independence Day for us Yanks there wasn't much traffic on our one paved two lane road.

Around here it's hard to get lost if staying on paved roads. Wander off on the logging roads and you're on your own. Might end up in Québec.
