Smile Pics of Airhawk seat cushions on the Versys

I have tested a few Airhawk seat cushions on my 2012 Versys.

Note that the seat for 2006-2009 Mk1, 2010-2014 Mk2 and 2015 Mk3 Versys are the same.
Here are pics of the fit.

Airhawk 2 Medium Cruiser: good fit - fills the seat tank to hump, probably a tag wide for the seat but OK

Airhawk DS: too small for the Versys, too narrow to fit seat - only for real Dual Sports

Airhawk R: my current cushion : good fit can move front to back for more comfort, a tad narrower than the 2 Med Cruiser which is good.

Airhawk R on my V1K. Apparently, my seat is a little bigger.

I can never keep track of them elastic fasteners. They tend to come loose and shoot off to places unknown. I've resorted to a nice set of boot laces.

The Airhawk R has 2 options, S and L. Which one do you have for 650?
thanks!

Thanks. I keep thinking about those, but just haven't taken the leap yet. Knowing what size will help. Do you like them? Do you think you get longer ride times without your "parts" falling asleep. My problem is my butt sometimes dozes off. I am thinking if a pad filled the low point in the seat there would not be as much pressure of my butt against the part where the seat starts to go "uphill". Bought my 2011 V used, so I should probably make sure it is the stock seat also.

Forty years away from 2 wheel fun. Sure is great to be back smelling the roses!!!

Just rode two long days - 10 and 11 hours (w/ 9 in rain), and my 'butt' was happy. ALL I've done is raise the front 9/16"....

Airhawk R - Do you mean the Airhawk "Cruiser R"? If so, which one?... small or large?

As you can see from our pics above... they do not have a RED stripe...

I assume that the new versions have been released with new sizes and a RED stripe.

My Airhawk R would be the New Airhawk R Large (Cruiser R Large)
