I've thought about getting one of those Pyle motorcycle speaker setup but I was unsure of the quality. More detail and pictures please.

pictures .... I hope !

Here we go ??? Photos I hope. The Pyle 60 series , 3 inch speakers and amp sound okay up to about 60 mph. depending on what you are playing. My classical music (Bach soft low volume music is hard to hear at 60.
Doors , J. Buffett and stuff like that are okay.... BUT..... I ride in the country where there is no background noise. Comes with it's own volume control that mounts on the handle Bar.

I use Photobucket. There are other sites out there that share photos. They are free, at least for now.

Nice set up, but can you hear the music if you are using full face helmet and how about wind noise.

I found this unit made by Shark. Similar setup to Pyle. This one has a 250 watt amp with FM tuner. Not sure where you'd hide the amp unit on the V. Check out the videos.

Pyle stereo and amp

Here is what I installed. There was questions about being able to hear the music. 99% of my riding is between 35-55 mph because I am on old twisty back raods with no other traffic . I can hear my music up to about 55 - 60 mph depending the song. I have also recently installed a very large BMW R1150RT windscreen I had in the shed from a few years ago. This w/s is big and stops a lot wind noise.
Stereo headphones... I have 3 different types of helmets, I really have never tried to list to the speakers with a full face helmet as I just always start to put my earphones on if I want to ride with that helmet.
I have tried using a adapter in the cord hook-ups and my stereo shop guy says not good, it lowers the speakers to 2 ohm (?).
I will try to load as many photos as possible.
Cycle gadets ( I live about 1 hour from them ) sells a motorcycle xm antenna and a wire kit to hardwire the xm radios. photos enclosed I hope. I purchased the radio mounting bracket from Ebay and it fits between the mirrow mounts.

questions ? Cb

Nice set up, though at speed with a full face I think earphones are a better deal. BTW, is that a 911 or a Boxster in the back? And are you a PCA member?

Boxster

Yes, I have a 2002 Boxster "S" I have as a summer car. There also is a small view of my 2005 Yamaha Venture Midnight.
