My first overnight trip

I covered about 550 miles on A 2 day trip, I took 202 from Mass to Maine. It was my first time riding in Maine, now I have ridden in all the newengland states. I took rt. 35n to 302 west past lake sebago and back into Newhampshire. stayed overnight in north conway, and also took the oppertunity to ride the hurricane mountain rd. This was also my first trip to the white mountains. Started the second day riding the kancamagus which is 30 something miles of just incredible beautiful scenery, and A fun road to ride as well had some twisties and nice sweepers. I eventually rode into vermont, took A few routes and got myself on rt. 100 south back to Mass. The temps were chilly especialy in the mountains, but it was A great ride and totally enjoyable.

I rode the White Mountains last year....unfortunately it was in a rental car. The entire drive I was saying to my wife.."I have got to ride this on my motorcycle one day". We flew in for our 1 year anniversary. We got married in Scarborough,Maine October 1st,2008. Beautiful scenery. Anyway...I'm jealous. But congrats on your trip...now your hooked.

Sounds like a fun couple of days, glowcat. The Kanc is always fun and I hear Hurricane Mtn Road is great since it got resurfaced.

If you're looking for a good project for a rainy day, may I suggest heated grips? Cold hands suck, warm hands...mmmmm.

From California to New York on the red eye at 5 months, she did great. Slept the majority of the flight. I will advise to get your LO their own sleep, its easier for them to sleep in their infant carrier with a blanket over it than in your lap, solely because YOU can get some shut eye as well.
