5800 mile scorpion sync

Dry grip is plenty good for aggressive cornering.Very smooth riding and great handling.Very good at finding grip on debris strewn pavement, like a few little rocks, sticks, leaves, whatever.Wet grip much better than sport touring tires I have used.I'm 165 lbs. and drove a lot of straight roads on these .Just speculating from my experience with tires on paved mountain roads, may can get only get 3500 or so miles, when 100% hard charging on twisty roads.Traveling on dirt or gravel roads no problem. The Pilot powers I'm riding know are not as confidence inspiring or fun as the syncs. The Versys, with it's available ground clearance and handling character, can't utilize the extra grip sport tires offer anyway. From this experience I would rather have syncs than sport tires.
