heading to the track

life is good!

got the Versys all loaded up and heading to the track for the day.

hope it looks the same when i bring it home.

to put a little more bike content in here, i did modify my stock windscreen, made it a little larger around the bottom to seal off the big air gap when the screen is mounted high.

used ABS plastic, and vinyl wrapped the with blue.

check out my trailer closely, that silver ramp in the middle is the only part that pivots for loading.
i can load the bike without being attached to the car, plus it's real safe loading, that was my main goal.

Post a report on how the Versys handled the track. That's one blue "monster"! Cool.

will do.

it's working really good, ran it last weekend on the track a little too, plus i been doing alot of hard sport rideing in Kentucky & southern IN. this year.

the 3 way adjustable Elka shock is cool, i can just dial it all in for the track, then put it back for a cushy ride on the street.

well the bike & I survived.

the Versys seems to do really well the tighter the track is.

i had guys blowing by me on the straights doing 150 plus mph, felt like i was on a Honda trail 70.

wish i would of had someone to shoot some action shots of the Versys for you all.

I was on the clock and in traffic today. What I would've done to be on a track on my V getting blown away on a straightaway by sportbikes. Sounds like heaven to me! Glad you brought her home in one piece.

Send a message via Skype™ to kiwi 41
I sure your V would of kept the sports bikes honest in tight sections of the track.

Someone posted they rode the Versys on a go cart track. We could own the sportbikes there!

i rode mine on a big go-cart track last year, it was fun, and a work out.

my brother just sent me a couple of pics, but couldn't get to close the the track , plus it was a poor camera.

i just bought another stock seat, going to mod. it for the track.

going to remove all the foam, and start over keeping it a really low profile . should get my c/g alot lower.
my seat is pretty tall and wide which didn't help me at all on the track.

If you went to Gratten I was there the same day. I just bought my lime green Versys today. I usually ride my ZX6R at the track - but I may prep the Versys for a run this month. Maybe we can run the Versys at the same time if you make it back out. I have been running I but will be stepping up to A in the next couple of outings.

hey,
i did a street ride at Grattan last sat.
they escort any street riders there during the lunck break.
i was the only one, so he really let me run hard.

I ran Gingerman in South Haven on wed.
they have a test and tune nite on wed. for $60.
ran with the experts, there was about 15 of them, it was great.

i'm planning on doing Grattan on June 5th or 6th.

that would be great if you did too.
perfect track for the Versys.

shoot me a email with your phone number to ;
[email protected]

i have spent ALOT of time in Ludington.

thx bud,

if the versys wasn't so tall, you could do away with the foot ramps for most bikes.
