There are many others like it...

...but this one is mine!! Lol!! After 3 years of observing and reporting, I finally pulled the trigger on a Versys 650 LT :-D I'm glad I waited as I believe this is one of the best model years to date.

I got it about 2 weeks ago and it took about 12 days or so to arrive after placing my order. The dealer also let me visit the shop to see the assembly.

I've put on 530 fun filled miles so far. Trying to be mindful of the break-in considerations ...but that's been hard to do! The bike is too much of a blast man!

Her first "distance" voyage (appropriately) was a trip up to Austin to watch MotoGP and MotoAmerica at COTA. I also had a chance to check "suspension and torque" up in the Texas hill country today ;-) She performed marvelously! Comfortable too ...while my supersport companions remained cramped in the fetal position. Lol!

No significant mod plans yet. I have however, ordered a front fender in black. I want to tone down the white a bit. Yes, I know, it'll be channeling a Tiger 1050 black & white scheme ..and that's okay with me. Lol. I'm also considering a Scorpion full exhaust (if they make a 2015 one). May get a tail tidy too.

Loving this bike my people! I'm now an even prouder member of this forum ;-)

Ride safe and have a great week everyone :-)

Congrats. It reminds me of the old tiger 1050. Especially in that color.

I prefer my 2nd generation because it can't be confused with anything else out there. If Kawasaki would have used H4 bulbs instead of H7 I probably could tolerate the new Versys. I just don't care for the one light on when on low beam for side by side lights.

Love the new integrated hard bags though. If Kawasaki would have put a drive shaft on the Versys 1000, I might have been interested in it.

Yeah, but at several thousand dollars more, and no others are a vertical twin midrange cam engine in a supermoto tourer at a discount. If they were, I'd own it!

You got a fine bike! I'm jealous
