Post your shots of the 3rd gen

Not a great deal of non professional photos of personally owned 3rd gens yet. Found some while trolling instagram under the tag #versys. I have to say, it's growing on me. The beak on the black one is sick! Enjoy.

nice bikes guys! keep em coming.

I test rode a multistrada and yeah.. I was drooling over the 2012 S so badly.. I just can't fork out 24k for a bike.. The versys is a nimble, fun, powerful, unique alternative. No bells and whistles, but less **** to break and much easier to maintain.

I've owned a couple of Ducs and really liked them, but yeah, the cost of maintenance is almost as bad as the cost to free them from the dealer's showroom. OTOH, I've never had a Ducati tech that didn't know what they were doing. And when you take a Duc in they go over everything and replace a whole lot of things every visit. Probably overkill, but there is some piece of mind in knowing the bike is always on top of its game.

As to warranty stuff, they are in a different league. Unlike the Jap machinery, when Ducs break, I've never gotten an argument about fixing it on their dime. I've never not got an argument trying to make a claim on a Jap bike. Duc even fixed a bike for me that was a year past its two year warranty, free of charge. And that wasn't a inexpensive fix. So there are some perks that come with the experience besides a rattling clutch and other worldly handling.

My V1K is supposed to have a two year warranty, but all the paperwork that came with it say one year. My financing lady just crossed out the one and wrote a two, but said I need to print off something from their website that states that just in case.

Anyway, since this is a picture thread, I'll shut up now and post a pic.

Wow that beak changes my feelings on gen3 V's. Looks so much better if you ask me. Gen 3 looks sharp in black, but I don't think I would ever want a black bike or car (too much cleaning involved). I have to say the more I see them the more I like them, just not as much as my gen2

Jealous, did you get the mounting bracket from Kwai or givi? Seems everyone is still waiting on that top bracket.

Got the Givi Universal bracket E-251 at the suggestion of Kawasaki. Works great.

Nice!

"Japan Ground Self Defense Force Knife" might be technically more correct, but it just doesn't have the same ring to it does it...
