A Pillions Prospective

My wife added a little review of the new Versys seat. She has logged over 100,000 miles with me so she has lots of seat time. Read it here: http://www.motoadrenaline.net/2015/0...rspective.html

Thanks Jamie.

The reason the V1K grabbed my attention (besides the fact that I like the way it looks) is that it appeared to be ergonomically neutral for both rider and passenger and like you said, there is a good deal of room between each to prevent bumping into one another.

My wife is a little taller than you at 5'6" and she too is familiar with high pegs and sore knees. This one looks like it has plenty of room and if not, I'm guessing those rider peg lowering kits would work for the passenger pegs too.

The info about the seating position, and lack of pain in the legs, and ability to put her heels and toes on the pegs without interfering with Jerry's feet or the panniers -- that kind of information is hard to find and it is extremely valuable. My wife would rather know that the pegs are rubber than how much horsepower a bike has. Thank you both!

I like how the side cases are more to the back. My girlfriend doesn't like the FJR with the side cases on it so i hardly use them.
