Givi E21 Pic?

Looking at picking up a set. Does anyone have pics of the V with just the mounting hardware, no bags. I am still not sure if I want to go the hard bag route. Thanks,

rc

It will look like this EXCEPT: Those are the PLX racks. The PL racks are straight where those are curved inwards to accommodate the Givi V35's

The difference is This 1 3/4" because the E21's are straight sided:

I'll move the wife's car in the morning and take a pic sans-E21's and post it tomorrow

Garage
Here's the Givi racks:

These are the only pics I have of the bare racks, because the bags are never off the bike.

Here are a couple of pics of the GiVi PL 447 racks on my '09 (SAME ones are on the '08). They're quite a bit narrower than some of the other brands' racks.

I see your using a Nomad rear rack. I cant tell from the pic, do the PL tie into the Nomad?

No - my rack is from "ktmduals", a member here, and there's no 'tie-in'.

I am very happy with this setup. Everything is quick disconnect. It takes about 2 minutes to remove the E21 and the racks. The top box is the Givi B33 and it takes 10 sec to remove. I keep it empty and just use it to store my helmet.

Extra lights.

If anyone needs an E21 side case, I have one available. During my move in 2007, the moving company rolled their truck and I lost 95% of everything I owned. My KLR 650, along with one of the E21 cases, were also damaged. The cases were replaced, but I sold them with the KLR. One original E21 survived, which anyone can have if they pay the shipping. The case was used on some long trips and have accumulated the normal wear and tear marks; however, it is not damaged. If you are trying to calculate shipping costs, I live in High Prairie, Alberta.
