2015 Prices - In case you missed it

Hi all - you may have already figured this out - Prices for the 2015 V

V Standard = US $7,999 + a $345 delivery fee (Ah ya right)

AND

for the V LT version:

$8,699 + 345

I do NOT know what the bags cost or if they are included in the V LT package. I'm guessing NOT....
Just thought I would throw this up.....

The LT includes hard side bags (not a top box) and handguards. $700 seems like a pretty good deal on those.

And thanks! I had been curious about the pricing.

I got to sit on the 650 and 1000 in Orlando, and I loved the clutch action. Much easier to pull. A month ago I almost had a spill while braking on a wet arrow painted in the road, and ABS looks extremely tempting now.

I don't like riding on those when they are dry - i've had some tire slide from them just going around regular turns before so i always try to take a path around them.

I don't blame you. My almost-spill was in Asheville, and I live in Florida. I'm pretty sure that Florida uses the most skid-resistant road paint available, and North Carolina doesn't.

Sorry, I should shut up instead of threadjacking.

Nice prices on those Versyses!

The 2015 Versys 1000 is listed at $12,799 + $345 on Kawasaki's website.

I am eager for them to update the website to list the offered accessories with prices. Centerstand and Panniers are standard but it looks like the essential extras like Heated Grips, 12V Outlet are extra. And the question that really interests me is the Akra Exhaust shown in the Promo Video--will it be offered as a premium upgrade?!?! Just would be nice to get OEM offerings for a bitchen exhaust with the correct fuel maps also as a starting point. I will gladly install it all. The real fun (or the madness) actually begins when the bike is home and the mods begin!!!

Seems like a decent price. Think I'll try to find a Versys 1000 in a local showroom.
