Had a Buzz....

Well, I had the infamous buzzing issue with the bike at around 100 miles. I put new peices of weatherstripping in all of the areas that have been discussed on this site. I am now Buzz free.

I was rather disappointed that the foam peices that came on the bike were so thin. The thicker foam made it a little difficult to get that last top screw by the top of the tank installed.

BTW, anyone know where I can get a Ducati sticker??

You can make your own at www.edecals.com.

You could also make your V uniquely yours with something else. Look here.

Ducati envy...that is funny!!!

I saw a thread on here where someone took off the kawasaki stickers and put on a Ducati sticker; it looked really cool.

Yeah I still don't get it. But then again, I didn't rebadge my Miata as Ferrari either.

Its like when you see a Mustang with a fake Cobra emblem or something. I don't know about you, but my first thought is 'poser'. But you're talking about a complete different manufacturer.

There's two outcomes really:
1. Somebody that doesn't know anything about bikes sees it doesn't know the difference. These people usually don't recognize the Ducati name either way.

2. Somebody that does know about bikes sees it and thinks poser.

A cool one, IMHO, is the KLE decal that looks like a BMW emblem. I did up some red/ white KLR ones for my red KLR some years ago. MOST BMW guys think they're cool TOO!
