Do you have to put washers in there? I just got one in the mail and it won't latch!

Yeah, same thing with mine when I got it. In the rear where there is a little U hook that would go into the locking mechanism on the bike. The U hook is held on with two little bolts. Take them off and put a couple of small washers on EACH bolt between the hook and the seat pan itself. Should clip right on then.
I think everyone on here has had to do the same thing, the U hook is just a wee bit too short.

FYI-There is also a thread on here http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...ht=corbin+givi where sharrison put a couple of little felt under-the-furniture-legs type pads on the rear of the seat to keep the seat from rubbing on the Givi side racks if you have them. Great, cheap idea that I used as well.

Thanks. The washers did the trick. Glad that's all it took.

The first couple times, I had to give it a well-placed karate chop. Now that it's broke in the chop isn't needed.

Yeah, I heard that the seat pan will "Mold" a bit better to the bike the more you use it and fit better as time goes on.
