Fore/Aft Adjustment OEM Trunk

Don't own a V yet, but thinking ahead....

Anyone know how much adjustment there is with the location of the OEM trunk? When riding with my son, I would like to be able to slide the trunk a little more forward than it would be when riding with my wife.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

I have a universal mount for a Monolock Givi case (OE trunk is a Monokey, which are usually smaller, cheaper, cases) and it has quite a bit of adjustment. If you use the OE rack, the OE baseplate will allow you some adjustment, but using a universal plate allows you more flexibility to move the trunk a an inch in either direction (maybe a bit more back).

Thanks for the low-down. AS a follow-up, if I go the OEM route, do you know which side racks are compatible if I want to add Givi E21s later?
