Yep, I'm there too. Picked up my Versys on New Years Day.

Why the heck haven't I bought something like this yet? So friggin comfortable to cruise on, and its still snappy and nimble. Very undersprung to be ridden like I ride my sportbikes, but still. It can do a lot more than people think.

When I bought it, I rode it home 2hrs in 40-degree sideways rain. My first thought when I pulled into the garage soaking wet and freezing cold? "Man, what am I gonna do if I wear this thing out and they quit selling the Versys in the US...."

Then again, if Kawi would come out with a Versys 1000 to compete with the Vstrom... hmmmm.

It's a fun bike. I sold a nice H-D to get this. Maybe one day I'll get back into sitting back but whether it's a 5 min ride or a 5 hour ride I enjoy it everytime

HaHa... I think about this sometime... If I have extra money, I would buy another as spare...

Yea the V seems to get better with time. I may buy another bike in the future but I'll always keep my V.
See the write up in Cycle World this month? Not a bad long term review of what we all already know.
45 degrees and rainy this morning, it was a great ride into work.
