Foldable / Adjustable Levers

What's everyones take on the safety of having a foldable and/or adjustable brake and clutch lever(s)? I'm sure many of us would have liked to have had the foldable option to save the lever in a drop, but did not know if they may fail when pulling on them. I'm in the midst of having an anti vibe riser installed and changing out the brake lines, so I might as go all the way and pretty up the levers while i'm at it.

Having smaller hands, I like the adjustability of aftermarket levers . I've used CRG and Pazzo. They have a more pronounced "dogleg" shape I find comfortable. I have used the folding levers with no issues, no failure. I do recommend not getting the cheap Chinese knock-offs. While some may have used them with no issues, there have been too many reports of them not having tight tolerances, resulting in partial brake release leading to subsequent overheating and lock up
