Officially Love the Versys

After this week......I have to say it.
I love this bike. I've tried in passing.....pretty good
I've tried getting down on it with high rpms. ....not bad
I hit in the turns.....very sweet, it is a very solid and effortless handling bike in the turns.....even at 70 plus.....Yes!!!
Cruising.....pretty good, but does make alot of noise.
Off road......yeah, let's try a little of that.....I'm starting to get to know this guy.....I'm really liking him. Finally can go off the road to get this pic of this really cool old house I've been passing forever

I like the mounting of your aux lights. How are they holding up? Is it a sturdy mount? Do they vibrate at all? And, finally, what lights are they? Enough questions, except for that great old house - where is it?

Thanks....having a hard time with posting pics on this forum. Sorry.

Took a 400 mile trip today on the little guy, I'm calling him Rocky. I'd say that I'm getting more and more impressed with the versatility of this bike. Went to Appomattox Court house.

dejablu - am I correct in thinking that you have your camera's "auto-erect" facility 'enabled'?

If so - that's WHY your pics are not erect.

I'm calling him Rocky.....I've ridden him all week to work.....I know my Raider "OFB" gets pissed when she doesn't get ridden, but I'm having fun on Rocky and he gets great gas mileage

The Yoshimura pipe is breaking in a bit....getting a louder growl and seems more peppy, getting to know this bike very well now and still love it. The mod bug is hitting me.....that's not a good thing, if you've seen my Raider, just got teacherman ' s highway pegs and bar risers......waiting arrival, got a gps/phone mount, already had power set up. Must have upgraded brakes and new tires. I don't like the continentals that are on there now.

Yeah it is pretty cool. I went through and cleaned him up real good, used some wd40 on the wheels because they were pretty bad and whatever it was that was on them wouldn't come off....so, that's probably a work in progress, cleaned and oiled the chain and sprocket, had a bolt on the fairing that must've lost a washer down the road somewhere. ...was loose and vibrating. I was going to ride it tomorrow for my 30 mile commute, but the hubby says I need to ride the ol girl.....so I did and now, I must ride the Raider.

Well the guy I got the bike from had these on there and they were old racing tires a friend of his used for "training", so they're bubbled or burnt on the sides. They stick very well but make alot of road noise.
