Thursday is for the V

The foreman came in this morning to let us know he wouldn't be in Thursday due to a ski day. Friday, New Year's Day is a holiday anyway, so maybe a four day weekend if we wanted to (no pay but who cares). But wait, colonoscopy on Monday, make that a five day weekend. I really like time off but I've been balking on Speedy's lowering kit, not that I need it, I can easily flat foot the V, I'm just tired of hoisting my leg over the seat/tail bag. So I figure Thursday I'll earn farkle money. That'll make me get out of bed. Maybe I'll even get the Fenda Extenda. What d'ya think?

I like farkling as much as the next guy (maybe more), but a lowering kit when you can already flatfoot the bike? I have a tall bag, and I just step over on the peg. Is there some other farkle you would like?

Of course, this is America, and you should install whatever farkle you would like. Who am I to say otherwise.

Best wishes for the new year. -- Hank.

It's like this, I've torn something in my right hip and it kills me to get my leg over the seat. Of course by the time my riding season resumes the pain may hopefully be gone. The other thing is to lower it's CoG for handling purposes. The V would still have a seat height of over 31 1/2" with the kit. But that was the reason for me going to work on Thursday. Other farkles for the winter include SS dual brake lines and new pads, sheep skin butt pad, dual tool storage containers. Of course on Christmas Eve I went into a Suzuki dealer and got a price of $9500 OTD for a 0 mile B-King. Where does it end?
