That has to be the craziest dash cam video I've seen to date.

I agree.. Dude was so calmly going way faster, and I think a pass that tight would require a pretty obvious L-R dash.

edit: I don't f'n know.

This can happen to you but you probably won't be as lucky. I love folks who hang in the left lane, he must be from Texas.

Lots of cries of "fake" in the comments (yeah, I know it's YouTube), and it's honestly hard not to be skeptical. I'm tempted to settle on real, but has anyone run across any corroboration?

This is a well-planned stunt because...

He lands on the roof with good footing... the car did not stop or I don't think even slowed down immediately. If this was a real accident, the driver would have hit the brakes a second or two after he feels the impact from the rear and a huge "bang" on his roof!!!

I wouldn't call that detail a killer. A similar and definitely not fake video was making the rounds not too long ago. Another rider landed on a car roof (though not on his feet), and the driver slowly came to a stop on the side of the road. The detail that catches my eye in this new one is the attitude of the rider's body whilst airborne. Looks rather rag-doll-like. I'm not good enough at dissecting video to spot the tell-tales, and the physics seem unlikely at best. Guess we'll see what comes out in the wash.

The one below is real as well and nearly as amazing, and the rider was just as lucky. Riding home from VA Sunday I had a bike fall off a rear rack on the car in front of me at 70+ and I sure didn't want to replicate either of those two riders! I had enough following distance to be able to brake hard and swerve around the bike as it was slowing....as I thought "F***, this could hurt or kill me!".
