Saddle bags

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Saddle bag, supports and the Saddle bag brackets? I am unsure what I need to purchase to mount the Saddle bags. And Im thinking I might just look somewhere else because they cost too MUCH!

Back in April, you asked about the stock Kawasaki luggage. Is this what you are asking about now?

Without seeing what you're talking about it's hard to say...

Normal lingo would suggest that "supports" are for soft bags, to keep them straight. While brackets are necessary for hard bags as that's how they attach.

But then again some manufacturers may call their bracket system "supports"...

What exactly are you looking at?

Luck favors the prepared.

FWIW - I paid about $300 for the GiVi brackets/ supports I used to mount my "Dirt Baggs", PLUS another about $80 for a set of pieces to adapt them to the bags.

Touratech rack and Wolfman Monarch pass bags. Fits good. Looks good. Price is bearable.

I should put up some pictures and a review....
