Seeking Versys Adventures for Publication

Hey Gang,

If you've got a Versys Adventure ride with good photos you'd like to have published in a web magazine this may be a good chance. Would love to see some more dirty V's in some press to help prove it's semi-dual sport nature. The gnarlier (sp?) the ride and photos, the better.
US, Europe, Asia are all okay. Adventure is the topic... we're looking for dirt on the bike and in your teeth.

Looking for between 1000 and 1500 words with 3-4 FULL size print quality photos. Hit me up off-line for details if interested.

Thanks and Happy Trails,
CC

Bear dude. I am rider not a writer.

I type with two fingers and one thumb.

I call my daughter in college when this POS puter crashes.

I believe you may be selling yourself a little short, sir. And maybe with Carl's help, it'll turn out readable.

You sure kept us interested!!

Siyeh, I am here to tell you that your 18 day ride to Alaska kept me riveted as I read it. Kinda glad I just joined recently so I could read the whole thing and not have to wait on updates like everybody else. I enjoyed it tremendously. I suggest you share it!!!!!

Something tells me a guy doing a trip from the states to the southern tip of South America on a V might be story worthy...just maybe.

Adventure riding in Morocco, Oct 2009. Part 1.

See my report in "Members Rides". Is that Adventure enough for you?
Loads of photo's to choose from. Certainly tested the Versys and it sailed through apart from punctures.

Hey guys and sorry for the late reply but I've just finished moving and dont' have net access yet.

Right off the bat I'd like to say that all of the adventurea on here are worth writing about and, as experiences, stand on their own. The difference is writing - much like riding - is something you know you want to do or not. We've all tried to get our girlfriends, wives or kids to ride and know that if they don't REALLY want to, then they likely won't excel at it.

Just like riding, writing takes practice and a sense of what's necessary to make something not only readable, but enthralling and (probably most difficult) is short.

Turning even one weeks of amazing experiences into 1000-1500 quality words isn't easy. Add to that the necessity for good photos and it can become a little more difficult!

Thanks to those who showed interest. I'll PM each of you separately real soon. In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions.

Paz,
Carloco
