Versys satisfaction.

Gents,

My satisfaction with my Versys is growing the more I ride it.. I have owned many motorcycles (too many). I started with scoots:
1. Yamaha Vino

2. Bajaj Chetak

3. Kymco People 250

4. Kymco Xciting 250

then,

I went for cruisers/dual sports

5. Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom

6. Kawasaki KLR 650

and last and definitely first,

the V.

None of the forementioned bikes has given me 1/10th the satisfaction of the V. This bike has the right combination of speed, comfort, handling. I feel I have the gone from driving sleds to flying an F-16.. This bike to me, needs absolutely ZERO. I am one happy camper.
I rode it into work today, 30 miles from the San Fernando Valley to the Wilshire District in Beverly Hills, across the 405 it was great. My KLR felt like a clunk (no offense to KLR owners), the rattiling single of the KLR was obnoxious. Anyway, my .02

that's pretty much how i was when i brought her home...
give it time... you'll find a few quirks, and hopefully mod into perfection.

Had mine for a few months. I had a XR 650L, love the power and just cruising 75 down a hwy with a little scenery. You might want to put a 16 tooth sprocket on front first thing.
