How do you do it?

Going on 3 months now without feeling the familiar buzz of the twin and hearing the distinct rumble of my LV exhaust. It's been in the movers' storage since I left for my en route training stop in Oklahoma, on the way to my next base (Charleston, SC). I've got about another month to go before I get to see it wheeled off the moving truck, hopefully in the same condition that I gave it to them.

How do you do it? Those of you that have to forfeit riding for months due to weather or other reasons. I love driving my old Volvo wagon, but ever since being seperated with the bike, I can't help but feel like there's a void in my life.

Hello, my name is Ed, and I have PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome).

Hope y'all are doing well. Ride safely!

Ed - is Charleston a duty station, or more training? (IF it's 'duty' - what airplane you drivin'...?)

I survive by planning future bike trips in excruciating detail.

Plan several options for the route. Plan packing, down to what goes in which case. Even what goes in each jacket and pants pocket. A process way more necessary for my sanity than for the actual trip.

And then there is always the option to fly, out of the cold, TO a ride.

Vietnam is always warm.
