Money's worth?

Do you suppose I got my money's worth out of this tire?

Do those qualify as "chicken strips?"

Can you tell how I ride my bike?

You my friend are NUTS!!

I'd replaced that tire long LONG ago. I went down once because of a shot tire and learned. I keep a close eye on them now and maybe replace them before I need to BUT I feel better about it. Plus tires are a WHOLE LOT cheaper than a hospital stay!

Or was that look THEN leap?

I can only speak for myself, I value my life and my bike far too much to try and save a few bucks on tires. Many places driving with tires like that warrants a ticket.Next time you are out riding, look in your mirror and ask yourself if the guy behind you could avoid running over you if you had a blowout.

Good Lord!

When in my teens we all joked about having skins for tires with tread showing on all four tires. Yea I was poor. I don't see that any more. Kids have better car than I have now... times they are a changing!

I'm going to put this one down to each his/her own. I only hope the picture was taken after you did a burnout to smoke the tires off, Not that you actually rode them like that.
Then again it's your life not mine, Just hope I'm not the one behind you in traffic that can't stop when you go down due to those tires.

Have to say that you don't see too many slicks on a sports or dual bike. I guess your took your wheelie bars off for the picture.
