Traded the Versys

It was the perfect 1st road bike! I loved it but....my husband bought a 2009 Suzuki Bandit 1250S with 5,000 miles on it, 3 weeks ago. I fell in love with it. So, he just traded my Versys for a 2014 Vstrom DL1000. He said I'm not allowed to ride that one. I have stolen 2 motorcycles away from him in 5 years.

Good luck to you all!

I can't say enough about what a great bike the Versys was!!

Almost forgot to show you

I experimented with Plasti-dip on my Versys a few weeks ago. I used the flat black on the radiator covers and frame covers along the sides. It holds up really well. Just thought I'd pass that along.

Bandit is a great bike, so is the V-Strom, I've owned a few of them.

Just be careful of the "devil" trying to talk you into "pinning" the throttle. The Bandit can get you into "go-to-jail-country" REALLY quickly!

I did the opposite in my motorcycle history. Started with a 1000cc Concours, then a 750 Katana, then the Versys 650. The connie was comfortable, and super powerful, yet heavy and bulky feeling. The bandit isn't wrapped in so much plastic, so maybe it's not quite as klunky feeling. I prefer the nimble 650 over any of em, but enjoy your new ride!
