What's my bike worth? $$$

Hey guys, just something crazy going through my head right now... but here is the description of my bike (for now i'm not posting any pictures), I need to figure out what is my bike worth with all the little additions I have put on. Here goes:

2008 Red Versys 11220 miles (and rising)
Givi windshield
Givi Maxia 52 trunk bag with Givi mount
Givi V35 side bags with Kawasaki OEM mount
Battery tender wired, and ready
12V outlet
Oxford Heaterz heated grips with 4 settings
Extra set of lights mounted with separate switch
Gravel guard by Timer (forum member)
Custom made radiator guard
Acerbis hand guards
Custom made GPS mount with wired connector for Garmin GPS
Extra fuse block with relay to accommodate al electrical additions
LoJack installed by the dealer (needs to be activated at a Kawasaki dealer)
Bike has a ContiRace Attack set of tires with about half of their thread left (and, NO I donít race this bike, I just got a hell of a good deal on these tires, and I could not pass it up)
Bike has had all regular maintenance done by me. Iím the second owner, and iíve had the bike for 3 years. Paint is in good shape, no scratches, dents or dings anywhere

If this was your bike, How much would you sell it for? or price it for a private trade (first hint), thanks for your answers in advance, I'll post some pictures after listening to your posts.

Slow down, and you'll get there faster!!!

I would think $3,900.00 to $4,300.00. Just guessing!

What do your want to trade it for?

I suspect you'd do better selling the luggage separately. Or using it on your next bike.

I think you would be doing very well to get as much as $4000. The Market for the pre-2010 bikes is much weaker due to the (much needed) improvements Kawasaki made. Your location has as much to do with it as anything else.

I'm in the "strip-the-farkles-then-sell-the-bike-and-them-separately" club. I figure around $3800 for the basic bike would be close....

Not that we're trying to rob you of your goodies, when you sell everything together odds are good that you won't get as much for the add-ons.

The extras don't add much to the value. They just help sell the bike. It is hard to find someone who wants the bike exactly how you set it up.

I strip off what I can take off without leaving unsightly holes and sell them separately. I offered my Versys to my neighbor for trade in value and 60 percent of the extras cost and it was too much money for him and probably more than I could sell it for on the street.

Thought about just keeping it, stripping it and trading the bike for a '14, dumping the Versys and Concours for a loaded full size adventure bike. Choices, choices.

Not trying to be a douche, but your bike is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Put a price on the bike that you're willing to accept and let the chips fall where they may. List it about 10% more than what you want and be willing to haggle down to your firm price.

Hey guys, thanks for your help, my plan was to get a general idea of what is the cost, street price, value of my bike, is today. Main reason is because I'm trading it for another bike, a different type of bike altogether, mainly I see it as a business deal for me at this point since I'm switching to a more casual riding style than touring, and on the other hand the person that is getting my bike was looking for something similar to my bike. It does not mean I will go away, I did enjoy, and will keep enjoying immensely reading, and learning from this forum, as Weljo said recently, this is a friendly, and helpful forum not common with other forums out there.
Thanks for everyones humble opinion(s)

You will have to explain this one.

I just got off a 2011 with 10,000km about an hour ago. I drove across town, then on the highway. My 2008 with 18,000km drives the SAME, but has a better windscreen. Again please explain.

I agree. The "improvements" aside from the so-called vibration reducing rear engine rubber mount are strictly cosmetic and of the "eye of the beholder" type.
If I were to purchase a used V I would weigh the mileage, condition and the add-ons more than the model year.

I just posted today a thread stating that my husband just traded my 2008 Versys with 15,020 miles, in on a new 2014 Vstrom Dl1000. The local dealer gave us $3,500 on trade. Not bad since I've had it for almost 3 years and only paid $4,000. Unlike the rest of the country, Arizona is not going into riding season now, we are just ending our best weather riding. Only die hards like my husband on I ride when it is 115 degrees outside. I'd check pricing in your area and see what others are selling for.
