Smile Parts

Hello all I am looking for a place to find some parts. The parts I am looking for are those metal spacers are whatever that go between the body panels and the bolts. Anyone know were I can find these?

The part and number is shown on page 98 of the free 2007 Versys parts manual download.

Try Bike Bandit. They can likely hook you up.

One of the local Kawa dealers ordered me one when I lost it for about the same price as bikebandit, without the shipping cost.

I'd try your local dealer before ordering online. It's also a good excuse to eyeball those new bikes.

I'd take a Versys over the F800 series bikes any day.
The F800s have had much more mechanical problems than the Versys, just based on the relative numbers of reported problems on the forums I read.

Stick with the Versys. The BMW has yet to prove itself. Something big is bound to fall off...

I get a look at my wrecked V sometime early next week. I wish I knew of a way to 100% determine that the frame, forks, and wheels are or are not bent. If I determine that the frame subparts are whacked and I can't find a way to rework and verify them back into shape then I might part the bike out and you might find what you need. Each frame part is about $850, and that money combined with $2500 estimate of repair of other parts will put me up there with waiting to heal up and then getting a new bike next spring--which, I'm guessing, is a shame as the EFI posts and the engine looks ok.
