Versys fall go Boom

I was turning right out a driveway when my daughter on back decided she needed to move around. I lost my balance and versys went down on right side.

Luckily i was able to slow its decent downward and the only damage was a bent brake pedal and front brake lever is now an 1 inch shorter.

I am ordering the brake lever and pedal do ineed any other parts like clips or pins or anything else. here are the two parts so far:

43001-0084 LEVER-BRAKE,PEDAL
13236-0169 LEVER-COMP,FRONT BRAKE

The Versy is running feels like it is running fine to so i think that was the only damage

The bent rear brake pedal can be easily straightened out.

My daughter is fine and now she understands why i tell her to get comfy and not move expecially at low speeds.

As far as the brake pedal should i take it off the bike can i bend it with it attached or should i take it off and bend it?

I do not want to break my brake

I've bent two back into place, its easier than taking it off. Both were miles away from home. If its the first bend it won't snap.

Take some vice grips or similar, have someone hold the bike and just bend it slowly back. I carry a small pair of grips with me for just such an event.

Glad your daughter is fine.

That reminds me of a similar event. My friend Chris had his twelve year old son on the back of his GS Beemer. Eddy was very tired and fell off after a stop. He was propped up by the back of the top case, and slipped off curbside. Good thing he was wearing a helmet and proper clothing. He was unhurt.
Parts on the bike can be replaced, your daughter cant. Good to hear she's ok.

I wanted to change both with the motion pro levers so they will both be black. These are a lot cheaper then some of the other aftermarket levers i have seen. Even means i can save some cash replacing my broken lever
