Ok, this may change your mind about the new Versys styling. Looks a lot better with the hot chick riding passenger!

Gotta love that orange/black combination. I'd love to have that colour, either the 2009 European/South African colour or the 2010 European. I can't believe they will only sell the black one in North America.

Moon Dust Gray Versys, with lots of farkles.

Vlast

P.S. I bought my Versys to support my photography hobby.

A yellow versys would be a nice souvenier to pick up in my next European trip. It will be hard to go through the airport security check with it :-)

You guys missed the best unintended consequence of this restyling.

Changing color has become trivial with the 2010 model. All the tanks are black, so what you are missing to change color is two front faring panels, front wheel fender and two rear panels. You can certainly bring those in your suit case, or better yet, order them from an online vendor in the market they sell your favorite color. If you start with a black one, you may not even need to change the fender, it may look good with a black fender and yellow panels.

I have changed my mind... it does look good, and I really like the restyled front fender. With a fender extender, it actually looks like it would keep the spray down!

2007 Versys Black, V35 Bags, H&B Bars, Skidmarx Hugger.Fender Ex., Avon Distanzia, Braided Lines, Hella 65W bulbs Arrow Can, DNA Air filter, GIVI tall screen (for winter), PCIII, Baldwin Saddle. **SOLD**

2011 KTM SM-T. Crash bars, E55 Top Box, Fender extender front and rear.

First thing I thought too. I'm sure over time you could even find all the parts on ebay uk or something for cheap.

If I want anything else, it would have to be the Z1000. With a windscreen added.

Nice ride! I've been thinking about painting the top part of the front fairing black for a few months, like they have in the yellow version. They have good taste in style! HO HO HO!

All the mounting points of the fairings appear to be diff. from the 09 visually. I'd have to see them side by side, or compare part#'s of the tank and upper cowl bracket.

I was referring to color changes between 2010 models from different markets. To adapt these plastics to an earlier version you will need a new subframe to give you the correct mounting points.

+1 on that! Anybody know how much $$$ those nice orange body panels would run?

Yeah, that’s a statistic sample size of 1, category “anecdotal evidence”, but there it is.
