2008 - 2010 Front End Update

Alright, I like the new headlight on the 2010 V, so I am curious, if you all think it might be possible to do a "front end update" to the 08. I have a few chips in the paint from getting hit by stones, so I am not opposed to a new paint job either.

Guess I will have to see what parts I can order OEM, and what the cost is of them. But it is food for thought.

It should be fairly straight forward. You'll need a new support bracket to go with the new plastic and headlight because not all the mounting points are the same.

The current support bracket is about $100 on the discount sites, so should be a similar price for the '10 unit.

Probably should consider a new wiring harness/solution for the front turn indicators too?

Really? Don't think I need to relocate them as I plan on only the headlight/windscreen area. I would think, at most, unless there is a difference in the type of lights needed up front, that I just need to wire the existing harness to the new light housing. Of course, never tried anything like this, so who knows.

Possible, but I bet it will be expensive. I'd like to see it done, though...
