Thanks for posting. I like the new look a lot.

Who knows what colors we'll see in the US.

The obvious changes I see from the pictures;

*More angular lines
*New exhaust shape
*New front fender shape
*Front turn signals mounted higher
*New fairing headlight shape and windshield attachment points
*New mirrors

I have to say it gives a much better first impression.

I don't much like the new exhaust tip, and the windscreen looks like it has some crazy weird mounting system (the bolts are on the sides where it bends down, looks like it can slide up and back).

Would be nice if that ABS option is came to the US this year as well.

From MotorcycleUSA.com this morning:
2010 Kawasaki Versys First Look

The changes to the Versys are less dramatic, with Kawasaki opting to refine its popular mid-sized street bike with new styling lines and minor tweaks to improve rider and passenger comfort.

New rubber engine mounts look to decrease vibes from the 650 Parallel-Twin, along with revised footpegs. Also changed are mirrors, changes to the adjustable windscreen and new tie-down hooks in the tail section.

I think I may well trade my V for a new one when it hits our shores.
It looks awesome, it will most likely only be available in SA in 2011.
So the timing is perfect whoohoo

All the changed parts look like bolt-ons. Much cheaper than buying a new one.

I like the new headlight...would be even better if the plastic around it were black, instead of silver. It will be interesting to see if it hits the states in 2010 and if they FINALLY give us ABS.

I bought a motorcycle because my wife said that I couldn't! Now I have two and she still says I can't have another one!

Looks sharp. I like the yellow. My red '08 has the distinct advantage of being paid for.

Black trim around the headlight would be nice, but nothing a can of spray paint won't fix.

From this article it has a new LED tail light as well, and new accessories in the way of hand guards, 12v outlet, and heated grips.

I like. Sure would like to see some more pics with greater detail. Also very curious about what colors will be availabe for the USofA, and of course, if we will get the ABS option.

Thumbs down

I think the whole bike is FUGLY!

It looks like the gas tank is black. It almost looks matte finish like the lower plastics.
